Splatoon Mess Fest in Santa Monica

So hey. Being in SoCal I did go to the Santa Monica Pier for the Splatoon Mess Fest. In general pretty cool and not as cringeworthy as I expected. I was there for the first two hours, but most of it was waiting in line to play Turf Wars. I got two free t-shirts. Sadly the game was very barebones demo version (obviously) you don't even pick your weapon you go to a Wii U set up, do the tutorial and then do a match. Fun anyways but yeah.

I was there for the full 8 hours.. It was a blast. Got to play the game 5 times once the line wasn't that bad. Pretty much exactly what I expected the event to be.
