In Splatoon, quick and fluid movement can be the difference between breaking out of B+ and reaching A+. The purpose of this thread is to share and find new tips on both Inkling and Camera movement to help increase the skill of fellow inklings. Feel free to share what you know. ;)

When swimming at high speed, it can be difficult to turn around because releasing the control stick and turning into a kid do nothing to halt your momentum, and so you end up sliding forwards. When firing your weapon however, momentum is halted.

Players can manipulate this by swimming, firing a single shot, and swimming off again in a completely different direction very quickly. Chargers benefit even more since they can hold their charge and just turn back into squid form without firing for the same benefit. Very useful technique for manoeuvring around your opponent.

I saw a video once of someone being able to skip the hop animation when you go up a ramp or a halfpipe by pressing something. Does anyone have an idea on how that can be done? I kinda forgot the video to reference it.
