Splatterangs are a weapon class based off of throwable melee weapons. (like shurikens, chakrams, boomerang, yo-yo, frisbee)
Functionality:
-When a projectile is fired, it will travel to its endpoint. Once the projectile has reached its endpoint, it will automatically retract back to its weapon and user.
-Players can manually retract their projectile at any point after it has been fired by pressing ZR again, or ZL.
-A charging ring is present with this class, and serves as a distance/duration gauge for each weapon. Charge will fill up as a projectile travels to its endpoint, and decreases as that projectile retracts back to its user.
Combat:
-Like Blasters, players will try and hit their opponents directly with the main weapon’s projectile. Damage will vary based on projectile contact.
-Splatterang projectiles can hit multiple players that are in its travel path.
-Projectiles may or may not be able to ricochet off surfaces.
Trajectories:
-There are two different shot trajectories; a horizontal shot, and an angled shot.
-Horizontal shots travel straight and require a single ZR button press.
-Angled shots make the projectile travel in a curved trajectory, and require the ZR button to be held down to wind up before firing.
