Is it just me or does anyone else feel like they get squidbagged everyday or almost everyday? It’s starting to get annoying

squidbagging is ment to be annoying. it affects your mental inturn making you play worse. try to just ignore or think of it as something funny

depends on what rank and where you are playing i think? In higher ranks it seems that people are more focused on winning and less on angering their opponents lol

When your opponent squidbags you, realize they're wasting the time they just won for themselves by splatting you. If they spend your entire respawn timer squidbagging, they gained essentially nothing from that splat because they weren't accomplishing anything either. man ima be honest with you you just gotta realize that when people bag its cuz theyre either mad at you or the game, just try not to think abnout it and u should be able to not let it affect ur mental

squidbaggers are easy to piss you off but it’s less likely to impact you negatively once you realize it’s just a petty thing that bad players do lol

A tactic to avoid getting squidbagged is to have a habit of opening and looking at your map as soon as you get splatted. If you don't see the taunt, it may as well have not happened. You gather more valuable information from the map* and stay focused on what to do next, while they act like a fool wasting time while no one even pays attention to them.

*Disclaimer I'm not an expert and I don't always know what I'm talking about. It seems to be generally true in my limited experience that there is more valuable information available watching the map in those few seconds than watching the person who just splatted you. Y'all please correct me if I'm way off base here lol

The only people I see squidbag are usually bad/extremely awful people in of themselves so its usually best to ignore it as best as you can and don't let a person goad you

This is a good habit for awareness in general tbh imo, I generally spend my time in the respawn timer with the map open watching my teamates and trying to find someone to jump too that is a safe jump

Nah thats fair. Annoying players typically do that when theyre ticked off. I usually do the same thing lmao

I don't usually see a lot of squidbagging? from my experience it's only ever used as a friendly acknowledgement of finding someone you know in like solo q or something, sometimes as a taunt but I don't think anyone who uses it to actually be mean is worth interacting with generally speaking. bc like, why would you put extra effort into something like that to someone you aren't close with?
