The obligitory "server maintenance ruined my game" thread

sorry folks. don't mean to be salty, but that surprise server maintenance ruined one of the better games i had in a long time. i wouldn't have been so pissed about it, had judd not just barely announced the winner, and had i not learned nintendo sent out a notice 5 minutes before the servers closed. you know what takes five minutes or more nintendo? a damn ranked match!

so, please vent with me, share your stories here, 'cause i'm curious what games this maintenance ruined for you!

What's with this server maintenance anyway? The game forcede to update manually and then told me new gear is available while showing the same hear as last update?
