Hello and welcome to the very first Splatoon 1v1 Tournament.
This tournament will be small and to see how it goes. If it is a success, a second one
shall be hosted, if it's an all out fail, we will listen to your feedback and adjust it
to fix certain things.
Date: The date of this tournament will be on the 2nd of January 2016
Time: The tournament will offcially start at 12:00pm EST/5:00pm GMT/If your timezone wasn't listed, use a time converter
How it works: The tournament will work in a process of elimination. The sixteen players will go against each other. The surviving eight go into the second round, the surviving four will go into the third round and the surviving two will go into the finals. Everyone is put into different groups ranging from A-L. The winners of A-F stay in their group and the winners of G-L move up to groups A-F to tidy up the groups on the discord. The next set of winners from the 2nd round of A-C stay in their group while the winners of
D-F move up to A-C. In the semi finals. Group A and B battle it out. The winner goes into the finals while the loser get's a second chance of battling Group C. The winner out of those two go into the finals.

Communication: The Splatoon 1v1 Tournament will have an a offcial discord page which you can join here. There will also
be discord chat rooms such as R1-A R1-B which are the groups you communicate to your opponent in. If you win, you will move up to the R2-A, R2-B, ect.

Maps: The process of elimination will work like this, you win two games of the best of three and you instantly advance to the next round, you win one and your opponent wins one, you clash it out to see who wins the next one to advance. These will be the following maps to do so on:

Disconnections: It is unlikely that someone will disconnect in a 1v1, but if someone does
disconnect, they may get one chance to play again if the other person agrees without proof, if they disconnect a second time, proof
will be required or you must let the other person win to keep the tournament moving along.

The big one, the prize: There is no registration fee involved, but to give something back to this community, a small prize of €15 will go to the winner. You will be private messaged on discord and your paypal email will be required to send the money to.
