Viability of low tiers?

"viability" is a hard thing to quantify. Low tier weapons have been used to success at 3k+xp and in some high-top level comp play but viability at top level is usually limited to like mid tiers at best if you're a one trick and even then a lot of them will find more success going to something similar thats better. In mid or lower level play almost anything can work in the right hands. Soloq this tends to be the case and you can find success with just about anything! If i had to pick out specific low tiers i think are underrated i think vdapple and vdynamo have potential but are overshadowed by stronger cooler weapons. Bow might have potential in the right hands but it's hard to say as erito is really the only bow player to reach high level and they don't really have top level results to point to (i believe in them tho !!), blob as well has some potential but it has actually seen some use by isaac at top level.

i believe in SWIG. maybe rain buffs will help public perception. probably not. weapon is just really demanding if you want to get real value out of it, outside of zones cheese.

once i get into comp i will push luna neo to its limit i feel like it has a lot of potential and i really like the weapon

low tier viability and pushing mid/low tier weapons is always something i have been into because i feel like every weapon has potential and not all of that potential is used

I love painbrush but it really does need a miracle. Actually, all it really needs is stuff relating to its lag. Startup frames reduced to 20, and time between each swing reduced to 12-13. Ever since the buff, I haven't really had a problem with its ink consumption. It's kits aren't all that bad as well.

yea in its current state i dont see any potential whatsoever. i think even with a buff itll be struggling? i kinda feel like it needs a slightly longer range.

Yea, I agree it needs more range. I'd be happy with range around gloogas. Can you believe this weapon is just barely outranged by undercover?!

Hear me out, Dread Wringer has a niche on some zones maps

mostly founder and mako, or any cheesable maps with decent bucket geometry

the main weapon is good, it just recieved the unfortunate fate of reefslider

i feel like a god tier big swig player could make it work but the problem is its super hard to fit into any comps, its just not the right meta for it rn
Honestly I feel like it’s entirely possible to make swig work into a niche comp especially with the recent storm buffs but we’ll see how those play out.
