In Splatoon 3, what are your 3 favorite stages in the game? If you have time, also put why these stages are your favorite!
As for me, it goes as follows:
Bluefin Depot - Splatoon 1 was my first Splatoon game, so of course I am overjoyed when a stage returns from it. Unfortunately, most returning Splatoon 1 stages in Splatoon 3 are essentially totally different stages which end up more butchered than a cow sold to a fancy steakhouse. Fortunately, this is not the case with Bluefin Depot, with the stage actually being considerably improved over its Splatoon 1 version! It's also beautiful to look at, really showing the power of Nintendo Switch over Wii U.
Museum D'Alfonsino - Sticking with the Splatoon 1 nostalgia, I really enjoy this stage for similar reasons to above. While it isn't as good as its Splatoon 1 version, it still maintains the core identity of the original stage and works well for most modes. I particularly enjoy it on Rainmaker and Clam Blitz, as you really do have to commit to a push to score. Do the statues still laugh at night during Splatfest? I haven't got a chance to check yet.
Robo ROM-en - I had to put a Splatoon 3 original on here! This has such a unique layout, with a wrap-around flank route, a cool stage theme, and just an all-around good time. It's not perfect, with the platform before mid being too tight and some other minor issues, but it's still a good stage nonetheless!
Honorable mention for me is Hagglefish Market, which has a good design with flank routes and also a fun market theme that lends to the stage design.
How about you, what are your top 3 stage picks?
