What became of S'ploon 1?

I left it a few years ago. Somebody enlighten me to the plight of S'ploon 1.

A good majority of Splatoon players that own a Switch have picked up the sequel, and the only ones left on OG Splatoon are either people who haven't gotten their hands on a Switch yet, or hackers (since Nintendo has all but given up on banning them by this point).

They did, and it was called the Callie vs Marie Splatfest.
An event in which Marie was the victor.

I mean for when they kill the servers.

Not gonna happen. They will announce a date and kill the Matchmaking servers, dont expect anything special.

Too bad Sploon isn't an MMO like Club Penguin. Something epic needs to be done when it goes brick.
