What do you do when you need a break from Splatoon?

sorry if a similar thread is already going, but what do you do when you need a break? I know for some people it's salmon run, or doing their locker, or something like that. Personally I play smash. What about you guys?

Whenever I get tired of playing Splatoon because I've been playing all day already, I go look at nintendo e-shop and wonder when I will be able to get some of the more expensive games. After that, if I'm still not in the mood, then I watch anime <3
But I also like to sit down and stare at a wall and be depressed <----- (the majority of my days)

I like playing pokemon :D (scarlet, showdown, hgss, etc.) or taking more time to draw. I also like hopping on call and playing roblox games with my friends, we call it “playing toys” just cos its fun and silly. It all keeps splatoon very fresh for me though

I'm actually going to be taking a long break when the new Zelda game comes out. Echoes of Wisdom finally looks like the game I've been wanting to play for years. Don't get me wrong, I love Splatoon but I grew up in the NES and SNES era and that series was always my favorite when I was looking for something to play.

My interests naturally wax and wane like the moon, so when I'm not feeling 100% squid game 100% of the time I'm typically getting in to one of my other interests - reading, Journaling, writing fic, stuff like that. Before getting back into splatoon recently I was reading a LOT, lol

I like to go outside and drink tea unless outside is full of bees (as often is the case) in which case I will drink tea inside and look out the window. This gets combined with listening to music and/or journaling sometimes.

I have other hobbies in theory but ever since splatoon took over my brain I haven't really felt that tug of desire to engage with them. Mostly it's just 'what do I need to do to make sure I can get back to playing splatoon the soonest' lol

Oh sometimes I will cook/bake I guess. But I need to do that anyway so it's more like a thing I end up doing because it's convenient to do it when I need a break, though it's still something I enjoy a lot.

i have so many dang hobbies that taking a break from splatoon is very very easy. if anything i'd like to be playing the game more than i am right now, my attention has been split across so many things that it's hard to find the time to do a lot of splatoon
main thing i do is go work on making my own games because when i'm having a rough time in splatoon it's nice to switch to something like programming that i know i'm good at hehe

I let off steam by playing RPGS, usually for longer than I should. Like, sometimes 3 months, but i haven’t gotten tired of it in about half a year

I like messing with my locker and walking around Splatsville, trying to see as many little details as I can if I want to keep playing.
If I just don't want to Splatoon for some reason I usually play piano, read, watch videos, or try to draw. If I'm mad or my eyes hurt I usually default to piano cause it's something I let out my emotions with!
Sometimes it's hard though cause I'm really indecisive so I get stuck trying to figure out what to do XD

Skullgirls, Them's Fightin' Herds, Under Night In-Birth II, and Riichi Mahjong. Splatoon's actually been taking a backseat to my other hobbies lately.

If I'm starting to tilt or nearing a ragequit, I just go to Alterna and start making some progress on clearing out every map for the Sheltron. I definitely don't have the attention span to just do it in one go so this is a way for me to make somewhat of a dent in it.
