Wi-Fi is what allows us to play Splatoon competitively. But internet doesn't always side with us. Here we can discuss tricks, tips, and things to help combat wifi poblems

1. Get a router that can handle the demands of online gaming
2. Configure ports so that gaming traffic has its own channel.

The rest is up to your ^/v speed and the gaming gods.

- Having a high quality wifi router can make a big difference, if one can justify the cost. Below is a good guide. I use the Asus RT-AC68U and can verify it has excellent performance.

- If available on a router, QoS can be used which could improve gaming performance.

- If there are multiple devices using the internet during gaming sessions and the router has multiple bands (2.4ghz, 5ghz), it might be worth moving other devices to the 5ghz network so the Wii U has the 2.4ghz network to itself.
