I can't even begin to count the ammount of times I've lost my Bubbler because I get overconfident and think that there's no way that bad guy could take me down before I do. Remember Bruno: Pop It, Don't Drop It!
I still think the reduction in its raw damage was really helpful. While it can still two-hit, now situations where I've been caught by a stray shot of a .96 while I'm damaged, and then thusly blown up in one hit, are less common.
Hmm... I'm having trouble imagining how positioning in Splatoon connects with positioning as a Spy.
The big difference I see there is that while in your usual shooter game shooting from a distance can still help you score some hits and force people into cover, in Splatoon any shot outside of...
I'm curious about it, considering all the unusual mechanics that are involved in Splatoon.
Personally, it surprisingly has improved my performance in Team Fortress 2. Before Splatoon I couldn't for the life of me use the Scout nor the (non-knight) Demoman; and now after coming back to it I've...
I can see them doing this as a measure against this. Making diminishing returns and opportunity costs greater than they already are would be a quite effective kick in the balls.
I know that feel. Sometimes when goofing off I've used a :ability_quicksuperjump::ability_quicksuperjump::ability_stealthjump: set, and for some reason I've pulled some amazing matches using that thing, sometimes without ever getting splatted. Can't explain that as anything other than pure dumb...
I'm not sure about that. I don't feel that combining the survival-focused :ability_defenseup: with abilities meant to work when said survival fails makes for good ability synergy. I would take one or the other if I was in your shoes.
This is more of a personal opinion, but I don't really like...
They will. Mario Kart Wii couldn't be patched and have the offenders banned. Splatoon's different in that respect, not to mention a big new game Nintendo won't want to be tainted with asshats.
Good call on the Ink Resistance, considering that weapon's rather lackluster coverage. Still, I can see that hurting mobility despite the speed improvements. Is it as much of a problem as I think it is?
