I didn't notice any delay using motion controls. Obviously a pro like Dude will sense it more than a middle-tier player like myself would, but I did not have any issues and the game felt the same to me, maybe a bit MORE sensitive since the Joycon in the grip don't weigh near as much as the...
You don't realize how much you miss your favourite gear until you are stuck with a pre-set build. I died so many times because I was used to having Ink Saver Main or Ink Resistance on every build.
Anyways, I felt like I couldn't hit anybody, which is actually not that different to how I felt...
They got a heck of a lot of grip strength on em, though. It's nearly impossible to get them off of anything they've attached to...if they could move, they could lift, bro (in the parlance of weightlifting types)
Anyways, the new map looks cool. I like how the slope of the middle area will...
I played quite a bit tonight and got killed by a lot of Panic Krakens and Gotcha Bubblers. Every time I was like "Enjoy it while it lasts, jerkwad!"
All of the specials we've seen have one uniting factor: you have to actually think about using them before using them. Use them in a blind panic...
We'll have to see how the rest of the soundtrack pans out. Splatoon 1 had those tracks added later that were pretty different from what was in there before, like the piano band whose name escapes me, or ABXY/The Chirpy Chirps.
And the single player music, too. It was really good in Splatoon 1...

It's like Pokemon music: every game has a different style of music but it all feels like Pokemon. This music is pretty...
Joy-Con without the grip would be interesting to test. They both have gyro in them, so would you have to move both in the same way or would it only care about one?
The starting position of Inklings on the spawn point is also different. More of a "U" shape rather than the cross shape in the first game. Possibly to stop shot blocking and getting in other player's way at the start of the match?
I like the term "sensor fusion" and will use it frequently from now on.
In terms of controllers, all reports seem to indicate that the Pro Controller is better on ergonomic grounds. Obviously nobody was able to test latency but it'll be interesting to see the results.
The swapped position of...
I have a feeling that none of the specials are going to work "as effectively" as the old specials at doing what they did, especially since some of the old specials were kind of insane by comparison. I mean, the Bubbler gave you full invincibility on command and let you keep shooting AND let you...
