I had already started a competitive Turf War thread and was working on the next update, but I might as well post here as well. Never know, we might need a meta thread and a strategies thread for it in the long run.
Every stage has 1 control point that's seems vital to winning the match, be it...
Slight edit to the OP with a more in-depth/cleaner image. I plan on putting each map into their own individual tabs with their write-ups once I have multiple complete. Any thoughts on the image layout to make them easier to read or anything, I think I've finally got a good look down.
How can you even compare Turf War to smash "For Fun". There is no random item spawn bullshit, crazy maps with stupid bosses or walk off shenanigans, and everything else inherently bad about For Fun.
Every core element in Splat Zone is still in Turf War. But instead of focusing on a single...
Even though Turf War isn't the Ranked Mode of Splatoon, I can still see people wanting to play it as a fun little break from Splat Zone. It also comes with it's own strategies and little quirks, so I thought I'd make a post specifically for discussing competitive TW.
After finally being able...
The splatter weapons were honestly the best. Between the jr. and the regular, I think it comes down to personal preference. I used the Jr. almost exclusively because of the Bubble special.
The charger we had access to was probably the worst of the three, based on their descriptions, and they...
My gosh that was extremely fun. I don't know if I'm going to nap or just stay up for the 4 -5 period, but after that I'm definitely playing through all 3 time periods.
I can definitely see it happening. This was a blast to play.
After only dropping one game the entire period with the Splatter Jr. and Bubble loadout, I'm convinced Bubble is extremely good. Bubble, the Balloon Bombs, Rollers and Splatter weapons all seemed extremely potent. However, without...
Adam Works also seems to have all his tees up at the RedBubble website (he goes by Melee Ninja tho). He's the one who made those Splatoon tees sold on Yetee. You can even get ahold of one of those tees if you didn't get the chance to buy it during the 1 day sale.
I dug into his tumblr to...
I feel like my obsession with Splatoon movement tech stems from my obsession of PM Squirtle tech.
I have a problem guys, I love movement options more than I do the actual games lol
Splatter hopping is such:
This man didn't seem to be applying it as well as I've seen others, you can actually go a bit faster. Or perhaps it was his gear slowing him down or the other player had speed gear? There is so much I still want answered lol
Eh, even mid match you could use it to quickly scout out a section of the enemies ink and if you have your special filled up use it to cover a ton of ground.
I feel like diving/scouting is going to be pretty useful in this game with how well one can hide in puddles. You attract the opposing...
I placed 33 in PM and 25 in WiiU at NWM7 this weekend. I'm kinda dissapointed with my PM placing, but man was this a fun event. First major I ever attended.
Yeah man no probs, Im actually gone this entire weekend for Northwest Majors.
I've got both Smash 3DS and Wii U as well as Mario Kart 8, but I haven't played much of 8. I'm a Double Dash guy myself lol and no Diddy makes me cry.
