I've only played rainmaker and splat zones, but I found it pretty fun on both on those modes. I think we need more stage gimmicks because the propellers platforms are my favorite part, sucks that I didn't play splatoon 2 and never got to experience shifty stations

I had a dream last night where I was playing turf war in my schools gymnasium (the turf war was taking place IN the gym itself) and I was using the gold dynamo which had the kit inkmine and splattercolor screen. yeah

I would LOVE inkbrush with torpedo and kraken. Torpedo has the same poking ability splat bomb does (which works really well) and I think having the option to roll it for combos is really good. Krakens aggressive and could work well with the torpedos to locate enemies

Here's a couple of inkbrush kits I made. I'm not competitive player, but I do play inkbrush, and I think these two specials that allow it to stay in would be really good (although 190p might be a bit too little). I personally think the kraken one would be a bit more fun but the splashdown one...

Hope my take aint too bad Note 1: I forgot to get rid of C, D, and "never used", whoops! Note 2: I am a casual player but I'm not completely blind to the competitive scene Note 3: I never played Splatoon 1 or 2 but I know how their exclusive specials work

I'll play daily but will take like 1 - 5 week breaks, sometimes I'll sorta have a half break and play every few days
