While this is an excellent point, I would argue that Echolocation is not enough of a factor to justify abandoning Ninja Squid. During the instances where Echolocation is not in effect, the difference between having Ninja Squid and not having it is extreme, and you're going to get detected with...
I certainly hope we can get Nintendo's attention with this, but I'm going to be blunt and say I don't expect it. Nintendo's business executives quite honestly have no idea what they're doing and are very resistant to change, so it would take a MASSIVE movement to get their attention (something...
My only question is how it would work with streams. Keeping track of 8 people at once on Twitch, or whatever, would be a nightmare, so it would likely be one person shown... but that doesn't showcse the full game.
Hello, fellow squid-kids. Some of you may know that I started up a squad a while back -- shortly before Splatoon's launch, in fact. However, I haven't really been all that active around here. There are multiple reasons for this, but they're ultimately not important to the main topic at hand...
Yeah, and Smash was designed to be anti-competitive and played with 4 players & items on. What's your point?
Nope, because Splat Zones has a comeback mechanic that increases the amount of time the opposing team has to go through before getting a knockout. This makes it to where comebacks...

I'm not so sure about the name, though, especially with the (unofficial) goal of having every tech have the name "squid" or...
I'm uncertain if Turf War is a good mode to use for competitive to begin with. It's not really a balanced mode; one team can dominate the entire match up until the last 30 seconds, only for the other team to catch the most ridiculous of lucky breaks and make a comeback. It also doesn't really...
Really late responding to this, but whatever.
I discovered this very quickly on my own, and have made good use of it. However, I must ask... should we consider this splatdashing? Or should we call it something more fitting for its shorter bursts, like splat-trotting? I think that's a valid...
As of now, you'll be the last recruit, after discussing it with a couple members. We want to have more than 8 members, but not so many that half the squad has to sit out during a tournament or group gatherings.
I completely forgot to notify in this thread that a squad of my own has been formed. It's called Squid Eater.
