Surprised that Splattershot Pro isn't on the list. My guess is that TTK and Tri forced it as a niche weapon, where the Jet already outclasses it? Maybe now that the Forge has been released we'll see more SSP, especially in TC.
This is imo and not entirely relevant, but I honestly think that...
Shielding pretty much negates charge weapons, you can just strafe to cover while shielding.
Otherwise yeah, it's not incredibly useful, especially compared to most other close to mid range weapons. It's decent against Jet Squelcher and as a panic option against bombs too.
I like the separated ranks, and I like the rank skipping system.
I'd say I liked the old system better since it was more punishing, but I don't hate the new system. I just dislike the continued trend that how much you gain seems sort of arbitrary on how severe or generous you get penalized/awarded.
I'd imagine you'd be able to pull off some fun possibly gimmicky strategies with it by using the ink trail of the brella to let fellow rollers or brushes push forward with little risk, provided you could choreograph it. Otherwise seems like a bit of a niche weapon that relies a quite a bit on...
Rapid Blasters and Jet Squelchers seem like a bad match-up for the Heavy Splatling. Counter seems like an overall nebulous word to use in this context because it's hard to say whether any weapon truly counters another since you don't always have to go h2h against someone.
I think my biggest issue on the whole motion vs analog debate isn't necessarily arguing that analog isn't viable. I just get the impression that most people I talk to who argue in analog's favor have never actually given motion a chance passed 2 hours, which is generally just annoying to deal...
I like to keep an open mind on most things, but I don't really see much of an advantage of playing stick. If you like stick, then stay with it I guess, but I personally think that person would do even better with motion with some practice.
With the right sensitivity, you don't really move your...
Improvisation is good so long as you don't rely on it too much. And it goes without saying that certain weapons favor improvisation more than others, so the mentality doesn't always work. That being said, playing with no improvisation can stagnate your progress and make you easier to predict...
A+ thread title, can I just say
As a side note, I think one of the biggest differences between S and A+ is map awareness. You can get to S rank getting away with just coming up with strategies on the spot, but if you don't have a solid game plan and objective for nearly every map and mode...
well the video is cool, but it doesn't really showcase much. Ignoring the fact that he just got straight up lucky in a few exchanges, he also greatly benefited from the linear nature of Port Mackerel, which is a feature that meshes well with the single burst h-3. I think for example he'd have a...
