I’d want to know more specifics, like what weapon you use, what modes you want tips for, etc.
In general:
- minimize deaths
- maximize kill count
- help your teammates
- coordinate with your teammates
- maintain map control
Always be AFRAID when you see the WUT or G&K tag (at least if you’re in 2300+ X). There’s one dude in the Top 500 (forgot if it’s WUT or G&K) but other than him they’re not that good imo.
I don’t understand your logic at all sorry. If you lose 7 games during calculation and you get 1800 power, that’s supposed to mean the game has been tracking your power from the first Splatfest? What if you were just facing very difficult teams and so didn’t deserve too low of a power to start...
From my rereading of X rank’s description, it sounds like it will just reset to calculating rather than kick you out of X rank instantly every month, which I’m fine with tbh. I’m not like super strongly against that or anything. I just wanted some sort of buffer for qualification which is...
I like the 3 months reset idea thing. I'm ok with it resetting every month too. But I would prefer the latter.
1) Splat Tim may have gotten to X rank in one map rotation, but is not as skilled at the upcoming map rotation. Thus, he may not be able to get back to X rank on the next rotation...
Well I wouldn’t consider an inactive S+9 player necessarily worse than an X rank player who just maintains low X due to activity. I’m sure many people would think the same.
Every once in a while you’ll be able to prove your worth again. Plus, rustiness + inactivity can mean a lowering of skill...
It could be if you hit a certain power you enter it. That way regardless of whether you’re S+9 or S+50 you could get in, since I don’t see them revoking people’s S+50. They would have to make individual power more explicit though, since it kinda seems unfair to have people shooting blind in...
I 100% agree it should be divided between Teams and Solo. Not everyone has access to a clan that will just breeze through 99% of enemy teams to get up. Plus, it’s not like they combine League Results with Solo Queue Results. Imagine how silly that would be if they did? The funny thing is that’s...
I finally made Top 100...you have no idea how much this means to me. It might not seem that important to most but I REALLY wanted to be a part of Splatoon history. All I wanted was my name to be there one day so I could say, “hey I was there” when this game just started to blow up.
The funny...
You can definitely skip from A to S as well as skip from S to S+9 (max).
From what Jon said and from other posts I’ve read I’m assuming skipping mostly has to do with Power over all the other factors.
My best guess is, as people have said, there’s a threshold for each rank (even in S+) that...
A lot of players would like to know precisely which factors affect rank-skipping and to what priority each is assigned.
Is anyone interested in contributing data (with picture proof a mandatory requirement) to a large data pool? This would help us by having concrete evidence from which to draw...
