I think there would have to be SOME order, because if rotation were completely random, we would have Blackbelly Skatepark (for example) twice or thrice in a row.

I'm trying to figure this out for Inkipedia, because we want to add a widget on the front page with the current maps, but we don't want to have to update it manually. Has anyone been keeping track of all the map sets and their order so far? If there IS a pattern to when maps appear, I'm sure...

That's only about how Splatfest takes place at night. I mentioned that above, but that isn't what we're discussing.

It's pretty common knowledge that Splatfest basically turns Inkopolis and all the maps into permanent night. The ink kind of glows, too, to make up for the lack of light. That got me wondering: what if, in an update, maps changed according to the time of day and season? Playing on Saltspray Rig...

I believe I already posted a thread for this. But anyway, the closest game I've had is a loss by .3%. It hurt.

I think it would be neat if the Rainmaker was attacked to the top of a central pole. Whenever a team performed a certain task (like captured a zone in the other team's base), the Rainmaker would spin and spray ink everywhere. Just an idea.
