This probably isn't going to change much since the tri-slosher still has all of it's other nerfs in place, such as the damage falloff, the range, ink armor, etc.
Honestly, I haven't liked most of the options for either side in a majority of the Splatfests so far, so I usually just go on the side where most of my friends choose. But I don't see it as Pearl vs. Marina, just X vs. Y. Just sort of bad luck that Marina had been getting the short end of the...
The game definitely improves on most of my issues with the first game. Took out and revamped a lot of the problematic specials, made matchmaking more stricter for less laggy matches, and added a whole lot more content.
Unfortunately Splatoon 2 didn't learn from all of their mistakes, such as...
I miss the soundtrack mostly. Also I miss that skatepark, since it was my favorite map. Also miss that feeling of playing the final boss of Splatoon for the first time. So awesome.
I mean, if you have a computer, there is always apps such as Discord, which makes the Switch app pointless from a voice chat standpoint. But the app does do some cool things such as automatically splitting people up into their respective teams whenever a match starts.

Oh trust me, I would love it if Nintendo would implement dedicated servers, but I don't have faith that they will do it for this game. Nintendo is quite behind on a lot of things when it comes to this sort of thing, which is evident in how they want to have online voice chat and parties with a...
Yes, the game prioritizes finding you a match with the best connection, which gives off the impression that regional matchmaking is a thing.
I highly doubt that we will get dedicated servers. It would be a serious undertaking on Nintendo's side of things to redesign their networking for...
Yeah, this weapon ain't too great, but it is fun as hell to use. Works pretty well in Turf Wars, but I wouldn't trust it in Ranked. Hopefully the other kits this weapon may get will be decent enough.
I don't miss them. I don't mind their playstyle at all, but I did mind the fact that whenever I faced them, they would lag like crazy, which was what had me quitting Splatoon 1 to begin with. So I will happily wait a little while to play a decent match.
Looks like the grizzco weapons are just going to be exclusive to Salmon. They are heavily modified weapons that would be banned from official Turf Wars.
Good map this time around, but it is fairly easy to trap the enemy into their spawn and vice versa. There really isn't a whole lot they can do to get out of whatever mess they are in, unless they somehow wipe a bunch of players from the enemy team.
