Stingray needs to be buffed. Not damage-wise but the beam definitely needs to be wider. Also, the thermal image of the opponents needs to be able to detect them whenever and wherever they are and not just when you hit them with it. It's hard getting a splat if you dont know where the enemy is...

There were a number of balance patches for Splatoon; expect the same for Splatoon 2. If you're worried about balance, Nintendo will definitely do their best to make it as balanced as possible.

It's been speculated that quick respawn is no longer a stackable ability and is now restricted to certain gear, like tenacity, ink resistance, etc. Not sure if it's true though.
