I'm pretty certain it's pronounced like the word 'platoon'. I've never heard anyone - including Nintendo officials - pronounce it differently.

Oh I had never thought of it like that. Well I guess it makes sense that way, the difference between those three ranks is definitely there. Would've been nice if the game communicated it more clearly though, because that would avoid confusion/frustration for the player. I actually was excited...

I'd consider that normal though, I can force that behaviour with pretty much every widget I have ever had on my homescreen. IMHO it's nothing that Dat Reesez Cup can or should fix. That said - as a general rule for any software - I don't mind frequent updates at all. :)

@Skirmisher You do realize Nintendo have lots of different development teams that have nothing to do with each other? E.g. the BotW devs are completely different people than those responsible for Splatoon. It's not a matter of 'bad vs. good' devs either, they are just part of the team that fits...
