For while I've been thinking of how much Internet bandwidth Splatoon bandwidth. I've been thinking of the idea of local get-together style tournaments for a month or two now and I believe that bandwidth is a major factor when it comes to this kind of stuff.
I've been wondering for a few weeks now of how local Splatoon tournaments could be arranged.
Local tournaments could arranged by: having each player bring their Wii U and their copy of Splatoon (and have each player's Wii U and Gamepad marked to designate each player), and hooking up the Wii Us...
When Tower Control was released, I was bummed when the game relies on the same Ranked Server for both Tower Control and Splat Zones. If anything, the best we can hope for is separate servers for each of the game modes or as you said, shortening the time for rotation.
