As much as I hate to say it, I hope somebody makes a Splatoon clone that attracts a large amount of the playerbase and actually makes a dent in Nintendo's profits (and Foamstars isn't it). I am beyond sick of dealing with their incompetency for the better part of a decade.
Yeah doing smaller numbers of players is a better idea. I think either a 2v2 or 1v1v1v1 would work. 1v1 could cause snowballing issues where the first player to get ahead has a heightened advantage for the rest of the game. 2v2 or 1v1v1v1 fixes this because players can only concentrate on one...
I've heard a lot of potential game mode ideas in my time, but I think this might be the only good one (or at the very least, the best by a long shot).
8 different ink colors on the map at once might be kind of confusing. That's the only think I'm iffy on, but I don't know how else to do it...
So it looks like we've discovered how Nintendo matches players together by weapon in X rank. I suspect this system is used in the other modes as well, or something similar.
My enjoyment of this game has actually gone down the drain after this new seasonal update because they did something to the netcode and now I dc from like half of all games I play. Disconnections were frequent before, but they weren't 50% frequent. I've grown extremely frustrated and angry at...
What's up thread? Long time no see.
I guess I'm just going to give my thoughts on the three new main weapons.
Splattershot Nova:
When this weapon was announced, Splatoon 1 veterans like myself were very excited for the spiritual return of the Dual Squelcher. It's a midrange, high-painting...

A few things:
I'm not particularly happy with this patch either. The balance changes that they implemented didn't touch the things that are super strong in the game besides a few indirect buffs to destroy Crab Tank a little faster. The Line Marker buff is nice but it's still the worst...

BIG TAKEAWAYS:
Nintendo is finally nerfing Tentamissiles!
Players over B rank can derank and not be stuck in a rank that they don't belong in. This should benefit matchmaking.
Line Marker got a...
Crab Tank is overtuned right now because it can hold down an area very easily for a very long time. I would like to see a nerf to its active time. I would also like to see an HP nerf to Booyah Bomb, which is what I have always believed to be the issue since S2.
I think even if that buff to...
As the title suggests, these are what I hope gets nerfed/buffed in the Chill Season update:
- Tentamissiles: Firing missiles now takes a few seconds like it did in Splatoon 2 version 1.0. Missiles can now only lock on to enemies that the user has direct line of sight on (the user can still see...
