Thank you, I feel Splatoon is one of those series where you really have to dig really deep to discover its lore.

I mean we never see adult inklings, bar cuttlefish (tho hes not an inkling) maybe they die young or adults are just never seen? I believe the earlier

I see them more as being busy with their own things, or that they have their own version of ink battles. After all, the Inklings who fought in the Great Turf War seem to be so much older than the modern Inklings, even younger Cap'n Cuttlefish having some sort of beard.

I think that older Inklings do exist, there is also a big possibility of Cuttlefish himself having a wife and at least two children given the Squid Sisters are actually cousins.

Maybe... but i do wonder about death and disease, do they have different illnesses or are they the same?
