so sometimes parents are allways like "BREATH IT WILL CALM YOU DOWN" but sometimes its so bad it don't work so I do stuff like
reading! it distracts you
playing s3! it distracts you
do some art! it distracts you
basically anything that distracts you can calm me down u should try it next time
breathing does help tho so if it works for you do it I promise

fidgeting helps me to calm down as well, like twirling pencils/squishing stress balls
its best to prevent panic attacks, learn ur triggers and try to take "baby steps" slowly to overcome ur anxietys
Yeah I've had some a few times, I had a particularly bad one a few years ago where I couldn't sleep at all and I was panicking a lot but the solution I found was to watch an episode of a baking tv show, I kid you not. It actually worked I felt way better after that, so yeah, like Madt said, distractions are good, especially if they're of the disgustingly wholesome type.
