    Well, this is a change of pace. I applied to become a moderator on the site a while back and as you can see, it happened.
    I want to make it clear that I don't want to police threads or start some kind of tyranny (any brella slander however, WILL be deleted on the spot/j). I really just want to help moderate the site, in the hopes that it can be a safer place for everyone, and to avoid any forum drama.

    I got jumpscared by a Hades II early access trailer on youtube and my heart skipped a beat like "IS THIS IT?? IS THIS 1.0??? HOLY SH-" before seeing that it was just an update 💔

    It's kind of unexpected, but lately I've stopped being so harsh towards this game's kits.
    There's so many kits in the game that I wrote off as pure garbage that ended up having some weird niche in comp somehow

    Custom Wellstring, Custom Explosher, .52 deco, Zimi, Dapple Nouveau, Heavy splatling deco, Inkline tri-stringer...

    There's so many examples of kits I really didn't like that turned out surprisingly good!

    I tried making one of those "25 games I love" charts earlier, but I'm surprised I couldn't find 25 games I've played that I fully endorse, if you get what I mean. Guess that means I still have room for more 😌

    It'd probably be very slow, but it's so hard to rush it down.
    I was thinking about hydra + tent and went wait... tent enables roller... screen enables roller... hydra likes bubble (all 3 of them lmao)... sooo

    The obvious thing is switching roller out for decav but then you have nothing to hit around cover, and roller plays around screen better

    Then we have the home consoles. The Wii used mostly the same hardware as the GameCube, so of course it had backwards compatibility (excluding the revisions that they removed the controller ports from). But what about the Wii U? I understand there were lots of other issues with it, but I can't imagine its launch price ($300 for 8GB storage, $350 for 32GB) wasn't an issue for its struggles.

    Casuals bought the Wii since it was cheap fun, Gamers saw the Wii U's lack of third-party support and weaker hardware and just decided to wait for the PS4. If you compare the price of the Switch with other consoles, $300 isn't anywhere near as much as $300 was for a console in 2012.

    If having backwards compatibility requires using older hardware, it would probably cost $500 or more. Unless Nintendo uses excellent emulation or beefier hardware that's compatible natively, it might raise the cost of the Switch 2 too much. Just my thoughts.

    I'm still on break, not playing the game very seriously so it's been fun switching it up this season! Recycled 2 and tent are on the back burner for a while, I also need to be locked in to play them effectively and I just want to go ballistics.

    So main thing I'm playing is splash and dualies, which I've really enjoyed so far!

    I'm such a fake present fan, lowkey rooting for the other teams because I'm really curious to see how they'd influence the next game
    What would past winning change? Would we see the great turf war? Would that ruin my hopes for a tactics game prequel?? Would the cuttletavio shippers finally see their dreams come true??? guys these people have been feeding off one sunken scroll for years now. help them

    If past wins I want a time heist where you meet the younger idols, like punk rock pearl or youth folk singing Callie. But if it’s future, I’m worried they will retire the squid sisters.

    In all honesty I doubt that the outcome of this fest will actually determine what time period the next game takes place in, given how "ages in real time" is both a unique facet of Splatoon, and arguably one of it's bigger points of pride, given how in-touch it is with modern youth street fashion, as well as it's emphasis on bands, and how they change with time

    My weird conspiracy theory is that all the people complaining about triple splashdown are just gold aerospray players being sad that their goddamn booyah spam strategy doesn't work against tsd.

    I don't play the Gold Aerospray and I still think the Triple Splashdown is annoying. There shouldn't ever be a special with an easy escape, that was my problem with the Splashdown from Splatoon 2 in the first place and it's still my problem with the Triple Splashdown. It's also why I have a problem with the Booyah Bomb as well.

    @Cephalobro That's fair, triple splashdown can also be randomly panicked and I get why it's annoying.
    I'd still say I prefer it over booyah bomb since if you don't get picked off by the splashdowns you can fight back still, while most weapons can't shred booyah bombs by themselves and it's easier to escape with it

    Just my opinion though

    That's fair. There was the imp in me that wanted to 1) buy one shirt of each kind just to have them and/or 2) buy multiples so I can wear one and protect the other from any potential danger but the reasonable part of me who knows my financial situation kept me in check, lol
