2: No double posting (Surprised this is a rule)

"no doubleposting" is an old forum etiquette rule. it's not enforced at all here and i don't think there's harm done by coming back to a thread to go "and another thing--" every now and then, but the idea was to encourage folks to slow down and not flood threads with separate posts that really, really could've been a single post

it's also 100% a rule for posts within forum threads and not profile posts/comments on profile posts

ooh I thought that was about making the same forum post in several parts of the forum. The timing between posts is killing me
