Amiibo Concerts and Functionality

Does anyone miss the Squid Sister's concerts that you got with their Amiibos in Splatoon 1? Why isn't that a thing in Splatoon 2? That was literally one of the best things I've ever seen from an Amiibo and in my opinion, made them totally worth it. I find their functionality somewhat lacking in Splatoon 2, which only gets you some exclusive gear and a picture. Why are the concerts left out now? The whole point of two popular popstar singers is to sing right? Not give you some fresh new stuff... What do you think?

Well for one, Squid Sisters aren't even the hosts in Splatoon 2. There is no reason for them to hold a concert in Inkopolis Square.

For two, we haven't gotten the Off the Hook amiibos yet. If I were to guess, they might serve a similar function to the Squid Sister amiibos in the first game (on top of the photo opportunity).
