Events where multiple teams go to compete LIVE? Id love to go see something like that.

Currently the expenses are high, and the user base is low. Only a handful of local tournament events have succeeded, I recall around three mentioned in the US. The tournament scene is still experimenting with rulesets, and are inconsistent across the world.

Figured as much. Hopefully 2016 will open more doors for Splatoon. Cause I feel this game would be great at live events.
