Can I derank out of S-Rank?

Made it to S Rank no problem then lost my first 20 matches in a row. Can I leave it to have fun again or is the game pretty much over for me? Already at -450 rank and getting teams that clearly were never going to win.

Yes - hit ZL in the lobby when you're hovering over a ranked mode to reset your rank. You can only do it once per season, though. The only other way to derank is to wait for the next season to kick you down the ladder again.
