Can we talk about Splatoon's music for a sec?

Namely the battle music tracks.

This stuff's amazin'. The style is pretty damn unique, featuring underwater people singing the "lyrics". The screamo track is definitely one of the more interesting songs, as it stands out firmly against the (slightly) more kindhearted sounding songs in the game. I'm also a strong fan of the music that takes place when the timer reaches the final minute;

(Somewhat SFX heavy towards the end, but you get the gist)

So yeah, opinions on the music? Initially, I thought the soundtrack was pretty crappy, but clear uploads of the music have definitely changed my mind.

I've always like the music to be honest. It's really... unique.

I like some of the music but overall a good chunk of it is really bland. I wish they got Hideki Naganuma to do the soundtrack imo.
