Dark Hour?

I saw someone mention the "dark hour." Is there really a time where disconnects happen more? What time would that be for someone in Iowa (Standard Central)?

I’ve never heard of that term in coherence with this game before; I get disconnects randomly throughout a session regardless of what time I decide to play.

Probably should've checked the date - it's almost 2 years old. Whatever it was, maybe it's been fixed by now.

Hey, I remember that topic about Splatoon 1. For me it was 23:00 GMT-3 that it did happen a lot, no more on Splatoon 2, at least for me.
@Award do you remember that topic? Do you also feel it got better?
