Splatoon 2 Does Splatfest Power correlate to ranked power?

I'm a relatively new splatoon player but I'm decently skilled in shooters. I placed 2098.40 for splatfest power. What does it mean and does it correlate to regular ranked? I'm level 25 I believe.

It's the same calculation system as X rank but it doesn't have any effect outside of Splatfest.

In short... no not really. I mean first of all the powers are separate--that's a given. But I would say your splatfest is gonna tend to be higher than what your solo power would be just because of the wider player pool which offers the possibility of beating easy players for more points more often than solo would.

So in other words, you were playing with people in maybe A or S rank.
