Where you can block an user from reading or posting in your threads? (the way facebook and instagram does)
This feature might sound dumb for a public forum like this one especially if you can just read posts without having an account) but if anyone here uses gamefaqs, they originally didn’t have such a feature either. The admins always said it would never be implemented because it would cause more problems and be more open to abuse. Several users said it was good because they get to prevent users from reading and making comments on their posts, but others said it served no purpose aside from blocking people from seeing your posts (in which that would easily be abused to post rule violations without users being able to report you) and I was always against it myself but never really put a thought to it until users who started spamming blocked me. I made a thread asking why is this a feature and some users said it was a stupid idea and they don’t know why it was implemented but others said it was a necessary idea because just putting other users on ignore wasn’t good enough. https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/2-message-board-help/80412042

I suppose you could say that gamefaqs is a dumb site that is full of ****posters which is why I shouldn’t really take them seriously but I wanted to ask if squidboards has a feature to block people from viewing and commenting on your threads.
