This is strictly a comparison of weapon to smash bros characters to just get a good idea of where the weapons stand Hope newcomers as well as help Alpharad

Splattershot and variants: Sheik- easy to pickup but slightly difficult to master, although overall unfair despite being constantly nerfed

Wasabi Splattershot: Pink Gold peach- who idea was it to put this in here!?!?!

Splattershot jr. - Mario: beginner tool, easy to pick up but a pain to deal with when full potential is discovered

.96 deco: Bayonetta- that tool everyone thought they wanted but turned out to be a ridiculous weapon that wrecks house if opponent is off guard, despite being nerfed is still overpowered in many areas

Jet squelchers: R.O.B- (see description by AOS Rydig below)

Custom Splattershot jr: Luigi- can support team, require slightly more skill but still an easy to start with, when abilities and potential are fully used they are difficult to stop

Kraken Splat roller : Captain Falcon -lots of power and decent speed, take more skill to master teching and spacing, always rushes back into the action, however if they have a chance to disrespect most times will take it
Splat roller: A captain falcon who know when and where to place his moves to deal the most damage

Dynamo: Gannondorf- lots of power but slightly slower than the original, has a few fast moves(subs), huge hitboxes that cover lots of area, ridiculously obvious move that you still get caught in, and even more disrespect

Carbon roller: Sonic- gotta go fast, rush opponents before they can react, take out distant enemies with a decent ranged attack (homing attack/ burst bombs), overwhelming special, stupidly powerful in lag
Carbon roller deco = that one guy who just spams spin dash to get around

***this included both scope and unscoped variants

E-liter: Greninja- (better nerf) insanely good at first, however has been nerfed ridiculously and later buffed for no reason, yet is still very playable and enjoyable to use

Custom Eliter: Samus- Very technical, rely on spacing to guarentee kills, most people regret caught off guard by this tool

Splat charger: Link- lots of tools and ways to take out enemies, lots of mixups, stupid range, 2 types of players, pros and scrubs

Kelp Splat Charger: Falco- lot of power and good spacing, rely more heavily on neutral game than on fancy moves (though they can still preform them), how did I survive THAT?

Classic Squiffer: Mewtwo- very agile, relies on debuffs and tricks to score KO's, has very few options against rush players when backed into a corner

Fresh squiffer: Duck Hunt- relies a lot on traps and explosive to push people into it low range dangerous heavy attack and spaces them out with all sort of tricks and tool, very hard to get good at but entertaining to use

I'd suggest ROB with the Custom Jet.
In my opinion they're high-mid tier and have a ton of potential. Spacing is key but they have good projectiles and good close range if mastered. And the recovery (robo burner/kraken) can save them in tough situations.
