Gear optimization?

Is there any sort of definitive set up of abilities for certain weapons or is it mostly just use what you find most helpful? I saw the thread on the exact numbers and when diminishing returns starts but nothing on what stuff to use

for the most part, with the game still being new, it will more than likely be preference at this point. There is no one true perfect set up in my opinion (in all honesty it would be boring that way)

However, something I highly highly recommend is finding out what abilities wont work with certain things.
examples :

• run speed up =/= rolling speed up
• bomb range up =/= sprinkler throw range up

it's kinda silly that they don't give you some benefit or at the very least tell you, but it is what it is
