Splatoon 2 Gear sets

What is the best way to get the gear sets that you want I’ve been grinding with the drinks and right brands but it’s still taking me forever to get the gear I want

Just upgrading lots of gear and hopefully getting what you want. If it's close then you can use chunks to make it perfect, or just use chunks to build it entirely if you have enough. Otherwise, you scrub and try again to get something good. Or you reroll a bunch of times which gives you quicker shots at the gear you want and gives chunks at the same time, however this costs super sea snails. People also get chunks from salmon run, which I would assume you're doing if you have drinks.
