I go by Koko. Here's a little bit about myself and what brings me here...
For the past few years I've had quite some involvement in the competitive Smash 4 scene, and I've been very fortunate to have been able to successfully run local tournaments with upwards of 80 attendants, some of which even drove in from several cities away. Having gotten my foot through the door with planning, organizing, and running competitive gaming events, my next personal goal is to switch gears from Smash and try fostering a Splatoon scene in my local area (Northeast Ohio.) I'm planning on spending a lot of time up until Splatoon 2's launch digesting as much information about the game's competitive meta as I can so that I will, hopefully, hit the ground running with some tournaments. I will admit, I might not be the most active person here, but I will be browsing around quite frequently while I get the hang of things.
I've always wanted to be a more active Splatoon player, and I'm super excited for the launch of Splatoon 2 as it's seemingly going to make it a much more accessible game, both competitively and otherwise.
Cheers!
