Hey, I've been lurking here for a while and made an account a few days ago. I figured I might as well post here.

I plan on buying day one and playing it a bunch. If the game turns out to be as good as it looks, then I'll participate in the competitive scene (I'm also down to help organize and establish whatever infrastructure we use, if y'all need any help).

Well I've posted a few times in the past couple days, so maybe that's it. Also, it's just a Spongebob reference, it's not really that unique.

Are you sure locally would be the best way to go about it? You would need 8 Wii Us times the number of matches you want to be able to run simultaneously. Plus, with 4 players to a team, you would need a pretty big turnout to have any meaningful and diverse competition.

And really I'm just offering up my help for whatever be it developing rules, or working out logistics or whatever
