Is it working for other games, outside of the Switch?

power cycle your router. unplug it for 30 seconds to 1 minute then power it up again, wouldnt hurt to do this with your modem as well. if this resolves it for awhile then it happens again your router may be failing or just incompatible with the switch. you could also look into factory resetting your router if it comes down to it, or a firmware upgrade if available. maybe even might have to get a new router

Superkootz is on to something. I recently had all sorts of problems with my printer randomly going offline. It did it with the computer, laptop, iPads, iPhones, everything. I tried resetting, setting ports, changing Firewall settings, then broke down and bought a new printer. Same problem. My router is newish, bought it in April.

So, checked and sure enough there was a firmware update. Updated it, no, no issues. Printer is online all the time. The point being, Firmware can make a huge difference.
