I made an account a few months ago or something with the intention to lurk with the occasional post, but after seeing the message about spambots and stuff I figured I'd say something

In regards to the spambots, once you get past I believe it's 5 posts we won't have to moderate your posts anymore. However, keep in mind that this area and the off topic area don't count towards your post count.

The added bonus is I can see your welcome topic before it's approved and thus be ready to give a warm welcome as I approve it :P
