Inkling
I don't know if this would go in Regular or Multiplayer discussion. Decided to post here.
NOTE! This is NOT 'Top 3 Weapons of the Month'. In this thread I will go through 3 different weapons and tell you my thoughts on their positives and negatives.
I will probably make posts like this every month, so next post will be '3 Weapons for February 2016'
Anyhow, lets begin the Highlight of the Month!
(Slight editing done January 11th)
Weapon #1: Sloshing Machine
http://cdn.wikimg.net/splatoonwiki/images/d/d9/SloshingMachine.jpg
-The basic concept is a little funny
-Has decent range
-Splats in 1 hit, as long as you hit them directly (indirect hit can work as well)
-Uses a lot of ink every shot, so is recommended
- are a decent option for controlling bottleneck areas
- can cover a lot of area, assuming you have a decent enough aim
-Works decent in all game modes
-Completely aggressive playstyle
Weapon #2: N-ZAP '89
http://cdn.wikimg.net/splatoonwiki/images/e/e1/N-ZAP89_1.jpg
-Has a rather fast rapid fire
-Low spread means it's easier to hit your opponent from a distance
- can be useful in some maps for covering a lot of area
- is especially useful in Turf Wars and Splat Zones
-Loses to and in firing speed.
-Woks well with and
-Works better in Turf Wars and Splat Zones.
-Mostly aggressive, but can work defensively as well
Weapon #3: Hydra Splatling
http://cdn.wikimg.net/splatoonwiki/images/d/db/HydraSplatling.jpg
-Covers a long distance when fully charged
-Can take out small groups of enemies with enough charge and good aim
-Charges slowly, which leaves you open for enemy attacks
-Has enough range to rival some of the chargers
- are good for keeping opponents away while charging
- is good for making sure you don't get ambushed
-Can be difficult to cover turf, despite the range
-Definitely use as it runs out of ink quickly with fully charged shots
-I wouldn't recommend this weapon for Ranked
-Completely defensive playstyle
And there you go; 3 weapons highlighted for this month.
What do you think about these weapons? Do you think some of my opinions are wrong? Let me know by posting to this thread (but also remember to not be rude/offensive about it). Also tell me if you have a weapon you want me to highlight next month.
This has been Daniel Squidersson and remember to Krak-On!
