How badly does the slosher need the ink resistance shoes?

if you mean just the normal slosher (the one with burst bombs and inkstrike), I don't think you need ink resistance. it spreads ink well so you don't usually have to swim/run on thin ink paths, compared to something like the tentatek splattershot/octoshot.. but if you want to use the tri-slosher then I'd say it's pretty good for that. :O

I'd say the two Sloshers and the two Sloshing Maschines don't necessarily need ink res, since they use their distance to their advantage.
The two Tri-Sloshers might make a good use of ink res, since you need to get closer to get the splat.

Getting better with the slosh-swim-in-the-trail-repeat also helped me to exchange ink res for other effects.
