How do you know if your Hub picture is visible?

I spent like 3 hours doing a highly detailed picture at the red post box thing. When I was finished, I posted it to my linked facebook account. It showed up on my facebook, and it's in my album on the home screen. How do I make it my Hub picture? Is it already? How do I check?

Your most recent art post is always the one that will show up in the plaza, although I think Splatfests may break that rule (they did in Splatoon 1).

For some reason my art isn't showing at all. I make it, post it to either FB on Twitter, and my partner's game still places me among the artless inklings near the tower. I leave the game running: sane effect. I leave the art in cache without posting it: same result. How to you get it to actually show up on other people's systems?

Did you try going into a battle after each art post you make?

Wish they gave us a better idea how it works and if we're ever getting any feedback!

The artless inklings are when you just played a game with those players. The drawings are complete chance.

Did that...and even had our toons battle online together. My art still wasn't visible on her system.
