I'm new to splatboards...

I've never used a message board website before so its all a little daunting
looking for people to talk to/any guides or tips for this site?
Anything I'm missing or need to get started?

Looks like there's a basic guide posted in the welcome center although I don't know how accurate it is for Current Year - I would say "culture-wise" for forums conversations tend to be longer-winded and (sometimes) more polite in tone. The best advice I can give from someone who used to be active on forums back in the day - allow yourself to lurk and explore and don't feel pressured to come across as Super Cool and Interesting(TM). There's no algorithm to appease. Oh, and most importantly - have fun!
