Ink Output: Splattershot vs Roller

I am an avid roller main, but at times, I question whether the roller even has higher ink coverage than other weapons. I feel like a splattershot weapon can come into a room and cover the whole area in less time it takes me to systematically paint it (row by row). Do we have any methods of measuring it? Has anyone looked into this before?

Perhaps I should enter Recon and time myself splatting a designated region.

Technically I would assume the Splattershot Jr inks better (since it spreads more), but Roller paints faster so you can just aim for narrow areas and let your team fill in the rest of the zone.

Aerospray spread ink better then a roller for sure,not sure for the splattershot jr, Too close to compare for those

But compared to the normal splatter shot (and his more precise variant)? The roller spread ink better.
