No it isn't dead. I play it every day and I always get paired up online with a lot of people. I miss Splatfests, but the game itself is fun though :D

I know that i'm personally not playing because I don't have the time to play. I have work and it's incredibly time consuming, and also more important. Thus, I'd understand if others stopped playing for similar reasons.
