Reporting in! Somewhat. I browse horrid sites such as GameFaqs and the like to see what others are saying. This was discovered back in August when NWP found a variable that lead to the actual Octoling value. 0 = Inkling Girl, 1 = Inkling Boy, 2 = Octoling Girl, 3 and above = Crash. She tested that with someone and posted proof from both sides on Youtube. However, the player who was the Inkling reported that after playing with the Octoling, his plaza froze and still would even after rebooting the game. Mercifully, he had a backup. Cue today now that those same tools are public now. Some Octolings would rather ruin the days of some Inklings by messing with their profile after playing with them.

The only known permanent fix is Nintendo to release the Octolings in playable form and finish the buggy parts of code (including this issue) that dealt with them.

I have this thing about Pokemon games where I'd take a long break from them, then lie to people and say I quit, because I know I'll start up again. Pokemon games are basically to me what cigarettes are to people who are trying to quit them
