I was searching on the lab and I was looking at all the maps and I thought "man what are the better maps."

Splatzones: Port Mackeral, Saltspray Rig, Blackbelly Skatepark
I don't play splatzones a lot but I find these fun!
Tower Control: Arowana Mall, Walleye Warehouse, Kelp Dome, Camp Triggerfish

Capture The Flag / Rainmaker: Camp Triggerfish, Saltspray Rig, Moray Towers
Like I said this is my opinion plus I haven't played all the maps on Splatzones nor Rainmaker yet! But anyways peace!
